Tim Hortons Father and Son Hockey Players

Tim Hortons Father & Son Hockey

Tim Hortons was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and entrepreneur, who was a defenseman in the National Hockey League (NHL), helping the Toronto Maple Leafs win four Stanley Cups (1962–64, 1967), and who founded the popular North American restaurant franchise Tim Hortons.

Learning a new sport, making friends and having fun is what being a kid is all about. The Timbits Minor Sports Program is a community-oriented sponsorship program that provides access and opportunities for kids aged four to nine to play house league sports in their community. More than 400,000 children were able to play hockey, soccer, softball and baseball across Canada and the US in 2019 alone.

Through the Tim Hortons sponsorship, the MWF has been able to continue to serve the community providing a three-day free family-friendly, fun event!
